Q: What is Linkman?
A: Linkman is a small cylinder-shaped device that's 3/8" x 2 ¼", with a light on one end and a
eye-hook on the other end, so it will fit perfectly on a keychain or lanyard. Linkman is made in the USA; fabricated from
heavy gauge aluminum and incorporates a computer chip. Each time you request permission to smoke, linkman uses that information
to determine your "smoking needs" timing.

Q: What’s with the name? Why is your product called Linkman?
A: In the early days of the nineteenth century in England Linkman was an attendant hired to carry a torch for pedestrians
in dark streets. We feel our Linkman guides you through your quit smoking journey.

Q: How can something this simple be effective?
A: It is simple, by design. It's simple so you'll carry it with you and use it. It's simple so it can be inexpensive. Yet,
it offers FIVE important strategies for quitting smoking : gradual weaning; permission-based; and addressing the three
addictions to cigarettes (physical, emotional and behavioral).

Q: What is the difference between the Linkman and a non-permission based smoking cessation device? What are the advantages
of a permission-based behavior modification device?
A: Non permission-based devices tell you when to smoke. The premise: if you are forced to smoke at arbitrary intervals, it
disrupts your routine, making smoking more uncomfortable or awkward, thus making you want to smoke less. The Linkman is
designed around permission-based principles, sharing permission with you to smoke, by simply asking you to wait a bit longer
at each interval. This makes quitting smoking easier by accomplishing two things. First, it eases the discomfort of quitting
because you retain more control over when you smoke, for example, you're not forced to smoke in the middle of a meeting or a
movie just to keep your quitting schedule. Second, because you query the device when you want to smoke, you learn about your
addictions to smoking. The more you know about your physical, emotional and behavioral addictions to smoking, the easier it
will be
to quit.

Q: What makes the Linkman more effective than nicotine patches or gum?
A: Smoking is addictive on three levels: physical; emotional; and behavioral. Patches and gum gradually wean you off nicotine,
helping you break the physical addition. Neither, however, help you break the emotional or behavioral addictions to smoking. Any
single level of addiction is powerful enough to stop you from quitting. The Linkman helps you on all three levels. See

Q: How does Linkman compare in cost to other smoking cessation products?
A: Linkman is very comparable in price, in fact in the long run it’s more cost effective. See

Q: Can I use other smoking cessation products while using Linkman (like the patch, gum)?
A: It is advised by OTC products like the patch, gum etc. that you cannot use any other form of tobacco product while
using these products. So while you can’t smoke – these products do advise that you incorporate a behavior modification program – this
is where
Linkman can help.

Q: What if I want to quit smoking TODAY?
A: By all means, quit today! "Cold Turkey" is the healthiest way to quit, since it stops the intake of nicotine
immediately. It is, unfortunately, also the most difficult method of quitting for the same reason. Research has shown a program
that gradually weans you off nicotine offers the best chance of quitting and staying quit. Remember: with no program, there is
only a 5% success rate after one year. With a program, your chances will at least triple (to 15% success rate).

Q: Why isn't the Linkman incorporated into a cigarette lighter or case?
A: You should carry the Linkman on your keychain even after you have quit smoking; to prevent backsliding in case someone
offers you a cigarette. Carrying a cigarette lighter or cigarette case around is not conducive to smoking cessation.

Q: Is there a product guarantee offered by Linkman?
A: Yes. We warranty the Linkman for the first year. If it stops working for any reason during that time, we'll replace it,
free.
*Limit one refund per customer. Original Guarantee paperwork required. To be eligible, guarantee must be exercised between 12 and
18 months following initial purchase.

Q: I'm having a hard time carrying the Linkman around on a keyring - I just don't have my keys with me all the time. What should I do?
A: Many customers have reported great success with wearing the Linkman on a lanyard around the neck, under the shirt. It
doesn't constrict movement, is discreet, and it's ALWAYS there.

A: We ship using the United States Postal Service, Priority Mail. Shipping Duration in USA: 4 - 7 business days, includes
package tracking.

A: Yes, we can ship anywhere in the world. All orders are shipped via USPS priority mail International. Package tracking
confirmation is not available for shipments outside of the United States.
